Crunks 2008: The Year in Media Errors and Corrections
Craig Silverman, author of Regret the Error and editor of its corresponding Web site, created a list of news organizations' most unforgettable errors over the past year. Most of the awards are humorous yet true, such as the "Typo of the Year" Award, which went to The Valley News, a paper distributed in Vermont and New Hampshire. Apparently it misspelled its own name, calling itself "Valley Newss."
